Billing & plans
PeoplePit’s pricing follows one idea: you pay for the size of your data, never for your people. Every plan includes unlimited users — invite your whole board, every coach, every volunteer. Plans differ by how many records your workspace can hold and by the monthly AI budget they include. Everything is managed in Admin → Billing & plan.
The plan ladder

A record is any entry — a person, an event, a payment. The usage bar on the Billing page shows where you stand. When a workspace reaches its plan’s cap, existing data and users are untouched — creating new records simply asks you to upgrade first.
What the free tier includes
Section titled “What the free tier includes”The free tier is a real workspace, not a trial: up to 1,000 records, unlimited users, the full engine — types, fields, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, notifications — and a monthly AI assistant budget sufficient for setup and light use. It never expires.
AI budgets
Section titled “AI budgets”Each plan includes a monthly AI token budget for the assistant, growing with the plan tier. When it’s spent, the assistant waits for the next month — or connect your own AI key on any paid plan for unlimited use billed to your own account.
Add-ons
Section titled “Add-ons”Admin → Marketplace lists optional add-ons — Portals, Mobile push, the AI assistant and more. Some are included with your plan; others are a subscription priced by your plan tier. Enable an add-on and its features (and admin sections) appear; disable it and they vanish, with your configuration kept for if you return.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”- Open Admin → Billing & plan.
- Pick a tier and the monthly or annual billing period (annual is discounted).
- Complete checkout — the plan applies immediately.
Payment is handled by Stripe; PeoplePit never sees or stores your card. Manage billing opens your customer portal for invoices, payment methods and plan changes.
Currencies
Section titled “Currencies”Prices are shown in the currency matching your locale, with a currency switcher if you prefer another. Checkout charges in your local currency where supported.
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”Cancel anytime from Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period — the Billing page shows the exact date — then the workspace reverts to the Free tier. Nothing is deleted: all data and configuration remain, and if you’re above the free cap you can still read, edit, report and export everything; only new record creation waits until you’re back under the cap or upgraded again.
